Vision
A covered person may now have their exam at Peter Christensen Health Center and be given their prescription prior to the product sale and use that prescription for eyewear at any optical retail store of their choice. See vision benefits below for more information about material services.
Disability
-
Short Term Disability: Lac du Flambeau recognizes the need to evaluate benefits and the changing landscape of employee needs. The short-term disability benefit amount is 60% of earnings to a maximum of $1,500 per week. This is an increase from the previous maximum weekly benefit of $500.

Long Term Disability: The long-term disability benefit amount is 60% of covered earnings to a maximum benefit of $10,000 per month. This is an increase from the previous maximum monthly benefit of $5,000.

Health Savings Account
The IRS released Revenue Procedure 2025-26 which provides the 2026 inflation adjusted amounts for High Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

Contribution Limits for 2026

The HSA contribution limit for individuals with self-only HDHP coverage is $4,400. (A $100 increase from 2025)

The HSA contribution limit for individuals with family HDHP coverage is $8,750. (A $200 increase from 2025)

Get To Know Your Benefits.

The benefit changes that you make during Annual Open Enrollment will remain in effect for the entire year. You are not able to change or revoke your elections once they are made, unless a life event occurs. Below are a list of qualified life events that would allow you to make benefit changes:

A Change in Marital Status: Marriage, divorce, death of spouse

A Change in the number of your dependents: Birth or adoption, death of a dependent

Termination or commencement of employment by employee, spouse, or dependent

A change in employee’s work hours that impact eligibility
